McGraw-Hill Education Examines Career Readiness Issues, Hosts 21st Century Workforce Virtual Conference

Industry thought leaders to address importance of 21st century skills at the center of America's global competitiveness

On Thursday, February 11, McGraw-Hill Education's College & Career Readiness Learning Solutions Center will bring together a group of national and international leaders in career training and technical education for The 21st Century Workforce Virtual Conference, which will address critical issues in career and workforce education today.

The conference will feature a series of topical keynote sessions with speakers including:

  --  Dr. Jin Huang, president and CEO of Ambow Corporation
  --  Dr. Barbara Bolin, managing director and CEO of Bolin Enterprises
  --  Cindy Wright, instructional technology specialist, Columbus (Ohio)
      City Schools
  --  Jean Kyle, president of the Business Education Division, Association
      for Career and Technical Education (ACTE)

During the 21st Century Workforce Virtual Conference special guest speaker, Dr. Huang, will discuss the future of technical education and offer insight into technical education programs in China, including innovative collaborations between industry, government and education service providers; how China is using technology to facilitate education; and what U.S. schools can learn from how China is approaching technical education.

Mmes. Wright, Kyle and Bolin will also offer perspective on key issues, including professional development, career readiness certification, and how Web 2.0 technologies are changing education.
