Lecturing to a classroom full of students may seem easy from the other side of the podium. Now, thanks to McGraw-Hill's "Professor for a Day" contest, students can prove they have what it takes to step into their professors' shoes. Developed in conjunction with award-winning digital marketing agency 360i, the contest challenges students to create and upload a short video of themselves giving an engaging and dynamic lecture on any subject they like - and offers a chance to win a Spring Break trip to Cancun, Mexico.

Lectures submitted for the contest will be available at http://www.professorforaday.com/, where viewers can rate, share and embed videos. And uploading a lecture isn't the only chance to earn a prize: students who comment on a contest video will become eligible to enter a sweepstakes to win one of 10 iPod Nanos.

The contest also enables students to share information on McGraw-Hill Lecture Capture, a component of the McGraw-Hill Connectâ„¢ digital teaching and learning platform. Powered by Tegrity, the leading cloud-based class capture Web service, Lecture Capture functions like a searchable DVR, allowing students to view video playback of their professors' lectures. Students can search inside professors' videos and PowerPoints to review key topics at their own pace, on their own time. McGraw-Hill's integrated Lecture Capture technology makes course content easily searchable and accessible by computer, iPod or other mobile device and is currently used by students in colleges and universities across the country, including Georgia Tech University, the University of Missouri, the University of Central Florida, the University of Colorado, El Centro Community College, St. Mary's University (Minnesota), the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and others.

The "Professor for a Day" contest ends on December 30, 2009. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. For a full list of details, please view the contest's Official Rules & Terms of Use at http://www.professorforaday.com/legal.php.
