McGraw-Hill Education Is Named National Distributor of Popular Classroom Reading Assessment TPRI

Two of the most respected classroom reading assessments are now available through McGraw-Hill Education. The Texas Primary Reading Inventory (TPRI) and the Tejas LEE (for children learning to read in Spanish), Grades K-3, can be purchased through these McGraw-Hill Education divisions: Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, SRA/McGraw-Hill and Wright Group/McGraw-Hill.

"Teachers across the country have found success with TPRI and Tejas LEE, and we are excited that these tools will now be made highly accessible to more teachers and students, thanks to the efforts of the McGraw-Hill School Education Group," said Dr. Jack Fletcher, one of the lead authors of TPRI and a University of Texas-Houston professor.

TPRI and Tejas LEE are screening, diagnostic, progress monitoring, and outcome assessment instruction tools widely used in many states for Reading First. They are available in a complete classroom kit with everything a teacher needs to ensure students learn to read. Stand-alone assessments, TPRI and Tejas LEE can be used with any reading program.
