McGraw-Hill Education Appoints Sheryl Neal Vice President of National Urban Markets

Industry executive, former sales representative and teacher returns to McGraw- Hill

McGraw-Hill Education, the premier provider of teaching and learning solutions, today announced that Sheryl D. Neal has rejoined the company as vice president of National Urban Markets.

"Sheryl is a proven professional who is skilled at working with educators and administrators in large districts to address and improve student performance through excellence in instruction, curriculum and assessment," said William Oldsey, executive vice president of the McGraw-Hill Education, who oversees its School Education Group. "Her appointment enhances McGraw-Hill Education's ability to serve major districts and develop a variety of educational solutions."

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Neal was executive vice president of Strategic Accounts for Voyager Expanded Learning in Dallas, a provider of instructional materials and programs. At Voyager, she contributed to the development of its urban initiative marketing strategy and provided ongoing staff development for sales representatives selling in large districts. Before that, Ms. Neal was a McGraw-Hill Education vice president of Urban Accounts, responsible for developing SRA/McGraw-Hill's marketing strategy for large districts, establishing relationships with key district decisionmakers, and training sales staff. Earlier, she was a senior sales representative with McDougal Littell Publishing Company. She began her career as an elementary school teacher in Port Arthur, Texas.
